2008 Rally 4 Kids and the Cars Kids and Toys will take place at Quarry Ponds In Roseville CA. Mark your calendar for December 6th and remember to bring a new or gently used toy.

In 2007 the first Rally 4 Kids scavenger hunt and road rally took place in Sacramento CA. The car field that entered ranged from Jensen and BMW to a Bentley Arnage and Lamborghini Diablo to name a few. With over $15,000 raised for the Sacramento Child Advocates the 2008 year looks to be even bigger.

The 2007 scavenger hunt was narrowed down to two people. Orrie P. in his 355 spider and Jeff S. and family in there yellow BMW M3. Both were fighting for the honor of being the 2007 scavenger hunt winner. Orrie seemed to be in the lead by the mid day as he had been carrying around a manikin in the trunk of his Ferrari. It was not till the end of the rally that Jeff S. surged ahead with some creativity to accomplish majority of the list.

The road rally was no less thrilling. It came down to the team of Colby and Joe in there Bentley vs. Ray Gin and his wife in the Lamborghini Diablo. Both of them had completed all the check points as well as finishing all the bonus stops. At each stop they traded on who was to be the actual leader. In the end Colby and Joe eked a narrow victory over Ray Gin and his wife. In 2008 we look forward to such a fun and close finish from all those who participate.
